![]() How much do you charge to produce an event? We are always happy to meet with a potential client in person for a complimentary no obligation needs evaluation. This is the best way for us to establish our customer's priorities and get a feel for their sense of style and needs. We then prepare a customized proposal of service that fits the client's individual budget, style and expectations. Typically our fees are 10-20% of the set budget for the event and events we produce have budgets ranging from $20,000 to $125,000. What's the process of working with an event production company? The basic process we use when planning our events is as follows: Proposal: At the first meeting, we will help you to conceptualize your event by offering creative ideas and visualization while staying within your parameter for the overall look, budget and goals for the event.Why should I hire an event production company? There are many important decisions to be made in the planning of your event. Just a few of these would include: entertainment, location scouting, contract negotiations, lighting, sound, security, transportation, permits, staging, food and beverage, decor, staff attire, invitations, PR, marketing materials, website design; and the many on-site details to be taken care of the day of the event. Unless you have the resources and someone within your organization with the experience, expertise, and time to coordinate all of these details, you should consider using a event planner or event production company. Do you have special party packages for events? Nope. We don't package up our services or events because no two events are ever the same. Every event is uniquely tailored to you, your company and/or your guests. Why should I hire Christa and CH Special Events? Well of course I want to tell you that we are the best event planner and production company around and that you should look to hire only us. However, as I'm sure you know, there are certainly dozens, if not hundreds and thousands of awesome planners around, including CH Special Events. Some will cost a little more, some will cost a little less. Most of us, including myself, have great references from great people and great companies and organizations. Most of us, including myself, have extensive galleries of exciting events we've produced. However, there are a few things that set us apart from others (1) exclusive use of many amazing venues throughout southern California, (2) we do all website design and graphic design in-house at no extra charge to the client (think custom 3D invites, posters, etc) and (3) the fact that we carry a lot of basic inventory to help save on the little things (that add up quick) for your event (eg. candles, vases, lights, etc). But overall, the bottom line is that we need to make a personal connection from the start so we can see eye-to-eye and work seamlessly together on your event to make it a true success. We have 4 full time event coordinators on staff and are not looking for anybody new right now. We often have needs for additional professional staff that can help with miscellaneous tasks (eg. tireless laboor creating/boxing invites :)), event set-up/break-down including heavy lifting/labor, and occassionally event managers. Send us an email with some basic information about you, what you want to do, and if you like, a little bit about what you've done or are doing work-wise. Keep it simple. No resumes please. |
